The Black Scholar (TBS): Call For Book Reviewers
The Black Scholar would like to encourage writers, critics, students and scholars to participate in our ever-expanding review section. As a journal committed to current research, writing and debate book reviews are absolutely necessary to the flow of information we have long been part of. Given the explosion of new works addressing Black social, cultural and intellectual life—and the steady flow of review copies that arrive at our offices—this is a great opportunity for your engagement. Though we are primarily interested in reviews of work in the Humanities, Social Sciences and History, we are also receptive to creative writing, non-fiction and cross genre work.
There are three primary options for those interested: 1) contact the editors to find out which works suit your expertise and we will provide you with copies; 2) submit full reviews of recent books; or 3) send us suitable titles and we will supply review copies.
